Level R Books

Leveled Reading is a system that is used to track children’s reading progression and help find books that correspond with that level.

Level R texts contain settings distant from students’ experiences, explained through long stretches of descriptive language. Readers at this level are understanding perspectives outside of their own and relating to settings across time and space.
