About the Service
The Auburn Hills Public Library and Auburn Hills Senior Services have joined forces to prevent Auburn Hills seniors from social isolation by forging connections between Auburn Hills seniors and volunteers through weekly phone calls.
This service is free, and you do not need a library card to participate. We anticipate that phone calls will last roughly 30 minutes to an hour each week.

If you are over 65 years of age and own property in Auburn Hills, you qualify for the Phone Pals service. You can sign up by completing this form or by calling the Community Center at 248-370-9353.
Volunteers for this service will be asked to be positive during phone calls, keep their Phone Pal’s personal information confidential, and refrain from giving medical advice. If you would like to apply to volunteer, please complete this background check authorization form and email a photo of your driver’s license and the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To help start the conversation, volunteers will be provided with a conversation guide and a list of resources. Volunteers will receive an email when they have been matched with a senior. To help us monitor the success of this service, we ask that volunteers complete this call feedback form after each call.
