Help your child get ready to read with our 1,000 Books before Kindergarten program. Sharing books with your child is the best way to get them ready to read! Read a book to your child and color in a leaf on the reading log. For every 100 books read, your child will receive a prize, but the real reward is time spent with loving adults reading good books! You can download an informational flyer and reading log here to get started.
Do you enjoy reading? Would you like the opportunity to share your favorite books with other people while practicing your writing skills at the same time? Then become a T(w)een Book Reviewer! This is a great volunteer opportunity that you can do from the comfort and safety of your own home. Reviews must be at least a paragraph long, and will be reviewed by staff. Reviews will be posted on our website as well as be collected in reading recommendation booklets, which will be available in the library. Please submit your reviews here.
