Up and Away! Comics on Hoopla!

Never fear, Hoopla is here! Although the library is closed, that doesn’t mean you can’t get your comics from home. Hoopla is a web and mobile app that you can access with your library card that gives you the ability to look at ebooks, audiobooks, movies, music, TV shows, and most importantly, comics!

Hoopla has a wide variety of comics for both superheroes and other graphic novels. I know a lot of you were asking about Locke and Key graphic novels, but why not check them out on Hoopla! All 6 volumes are available as well as additional side issues like Locke and Key: Dog Days and Locke and Key: Clockworks.

If you’d like a memoir instead, Hoopla has They Called Us Enemy by George Takei. This is the striking story of Takei’s childhood in an internment camp in World War II.

Now if superheroes are more your speed, Hoopla has the newest volumes and issues for all your favorite superheroes. Most notable are the much acclaimed Harleen, a retelling of Harley Quinn’s origin story, and the War of the Realms event titles.

There are hundreds of comics and graphic novels for you to enjoy during this time away from your library so please search for all your favorite titles and maybe even find something new to read!
