What is my PIN?

Your PIN is your account’s password. Your PIN is needed to place holds, renew materials, and use the Online Catalog. If you are unsure of what your PIN is, you can call us at 248-370-9466, stop by the Circulation Desk, or use the Online Catalog to reset it.

Can I use a credit card to print or fax?

Yes, our print and fax systems both allow you to use a credit card to pay for prints and faxes. The maximum charge allowed on a credit card for printing or faxing is $25.

Can I print from my device (phone, tablet, etc)?

Yes, if your device has internet capabilities you can go here to upload documents and they will be available to release as print jobs at our printing kiosk inside the library.

How do I use the library apps?

There are several apps available to AHPL cardholders. You can check our Digital Library page to learn more about what they offer and which devices they are compatible with. For further assistance using the library apps you can contact the Technology department to setup a 1-on-1 appointment.

How do I get a library card?

If you live or work in the city of Auburn Hills you are eligible for a library card. You will need to bring proof that you live/work/ here to our Circulation Desk where they can create an account for you and give you a library card.

Do I need a library card to use the computers?

No, you do not need a library card to use the computers. Guest passes are available at the Information Desk which will allow you to log onto the public computers and print. Due to the COVID pandemic, please contact the library to verify that this is accurate.
