The Auburn Hills Public Library now offers the option to select our 24/7 Hold Locker as a pickup location for items placed on hold.
The lockers are located outside the Library near the 24 Hour Return drop on the east side of the building. It’s perfect for when you can’t pick up your holds during our regular hours.

How it works

STEP 1: SELECT PICKUP LOCATION

Log in to My Account from the Library’s website with your Auburn Hills Public Library card number and PIN. Find the item(s) you want to borrow and select “Auburn Hill Public Library Lockers” as your pickup location. You can also call us at (248) 370-9466 and ask a staff member to place items on hold for you.

STEP 2: WAIT FOR NOTIFICATION

As soon as your items become available to pick up, you will receive an email or text from the Library. Please wait for this notification before you come to the Library to pick up your items.

STEP 3: COME TO THE LIBRARY TO COLLECT YOUR ITEMS

Pick up your items from our 24/7 Hold Locker located outside the Library, near our outdoor 24 Hour Return drop. You have 7 days from the time of receiving the notification to come to the Library and collect your items.

Some items may not be eligible for pickup in our holds locker, including New Arrivals and Library of Things. For additional information, check our frequently asked questions.
